Golf's Longest Day Has Arrived!

The goal of a lifetime, playing in the 2023 U.S. Open Championship, stands just 36 holes away. For those of the record 10,817 entries who survived local qualifying, or were exempt into Final Qualifying, their chance to achieve that goal arrives Monday as 10 Final Qualifying events are set to take place across America and Canada, setting the stage for what has come to be know as "Golf's Longest Day." For the 530 players who successfully navigating the local qualifying challenge, Monday offers them the opportunity to be part of the 156-player field next Thursday when the 123rd U.S. Open Championship tees off over the North Course at the Los Angeles Country Club. For the player, this is a thought process that began with an entry form filled out at the beginning of the year, and will conclude at one of the following 10 sites on Monday: Hillcrest Country Club (Los Angeles CA) Pine Tree Golf Club (,Boynton Beach, FL) Hawks Ridge Golf Club (Ball Ground, GA) Woodmont Country Club's North Course (Rockville, MD) Canoe Brook Country Club's North & South Courses (Summit, NJ) Old Chatham Golf Club (Durham, NC) Brookside Golf & Country Club and The Lakes Golf & Country Club (Columbus, OH) Springfield (Ohio) Country Club (Springfield, OH) Tacoma Country & Golf Club (Lakewood, WA) Lambton Golf & Country Club (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
